CraftSanity Episode 6 is ready for download

Two words: Boob Fairy.
If you don't know what I'm talking about tune in to this week's podcast to meet an awesome folk singer. Her name's Deirdre Flint and her music rocks. I can't sing so I'm more than thrilled to have Deirdre singing on the podcast. She's creative. We can all learn from her. Check it out and tell all your friends.

So far, so good?

I've been flying by the seat of my pants with this weekly interview schedule. But I'm going to stick with it for a while because it's fun to talk to creative people. If you want to be on CraftSanity, send me an e-mail.

Giving Birth To CraftSanity

Introducing CraftSanity

If it weren't for art where would you be right now? If you didn't know how to knit, crochet, weave, spin, paint, sew, write, sing, dance, or express yourself creatively some other way, what would you do? How would you blow off steam and cope with the stresses of life? I don't know about you, but I shudder at the thought of a world without soft yarn, shiny black tap shoes and rock music. This blog is dedicated to all you creative spirits out there. This is where I'm going to put some of my reporting skills to craftabulous use and host an online discussion about art, crafts and all things creative.

Who Is This Crafty Lady?

My name is Jennifer and I'm a 29-year-old, married, working mother of two sweet girls under age two. I'm a newspaper reporter who is almost always armed with a portable craft project just in case I get 30 seconds of down time or I just plain need a moment of Zen. I'm busy, but I love to do projects.

CraftSanity With Me

Here's the deal. I'm currently issuing a call for submissions. I want to interview artists and crafters from all over the globe, review the latest books and products and share fun project ideas you can try out in your home studios or with a group of artist friends. I can't come up with all the project ideas myself, so help me out and send me some of yours. Contact me at
